By using Check My WPM at www.checkmywpm.com you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The service
Check My WPM provides free online typing tests, practice modes and typing games that run in your web browser. No account is required. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and we may pause or stop the service without notice.
Acceptable use
You may use Check My WPM for personal practice, in the classroom, and for training at work. You agree not to:
- Use bots, scripts or other automation to post fake results, or to send an unreasonable number of requests to the site.
- Attempt to break, probe or bypass the site's security, or disrupt it for other people.
- Copy, mirror or republish the site or large parts of its content as your own.
- Present Check My WPM results as an official, accredited or employer-issued typing certificate.
- Use the site in any way that breaks applicable laws.
Our content
The Check My WPM name, logo, design, code and the original practice passages on the site belong to Check My WPM. You may share your own results and screenshots freely, and teachers may use the site with their students. Please ask us before reusing our text or design in another product.
Your content
Text you paste into Custom mode stays in your browser. It is not uploaded, stored on our servers or shared. You are responsible for having the right to use any text you paste.
Results and accuracy
Typing results are calculated automatically in your browser and are provided for practice and personal feedback only. Results can vary with your device, keyboard, browser and settings. See our disclaimer for more detail.
No warranty
Check My WPM is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise that the site will always be available, error-free or that results will be saved, since they depend on your browser's storage.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Check My WPM is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including lost results or decisions made based on typing scores. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
