Survival
Words keep coming with no time limit. Every mistake costs a life. How long can you last?
How to play Survival
Words keep falling
There is no clock. Words keep coming for as long as you survive.
Mistakes cost lives
Every wrong keystroke and every missed word takes away a life.
Last as long as you can
The pace climbs slowly. Clear 10 words to win a life back and see how long you last.
An endless typing game that trains accuracy
Survival is an endless typing game with no time limit. Words fall at a steady pace and the round lasts as long as your lives do. Unlike most typing games, every wrong key costs a life, not only the words you miss, so it trains accuracy under pressure.
That makes it the best game here for breaking the habit of typing fast and fixing mistakes later. Clearing 10 words wins back a life, up to 5, so clean typing keeps you going. The pace rises slowly every 12 words, and your result shows how long you survived alongside your WPM and accuracy.
How Survival scoring works
Points per word
Each cleared word scores 10 points per letter, multiplied by your level and your streak multiplier, which goes up to x4.
Lives
You start with 5 lives. A wrong key costs one, and so does any word that reaches the danger zone.
Winning lives back
Every 10 words you clear restore one life, up to the maximum of 5.
Tips for a higher Survival score
Slow down to survive
A wrong key costs as much as a missed word, so type at a pace where you rarely make mistakes.
Only start words you can finish
The first letter locks onto a word. Choose words you can type cleanly and let the others fall a little further.
Bank lives early
The first levels are gentle. Use them to build a streak and win back any lives you lose before the pace rises.
Train accuracy separately
If you lose lives quickly, practice with the English typing test on Easy until your accuracy stays above 95%.
Survival questions
How is Survival different from Falling Words?
In Falling Words only missed words cost a life. In Survival every wrong keystroke costs one too, so it trains precise, careful typing.
What skill does Survival train?
Accuracy under pressure. It rewards typists who stay calm and consistent over a long run, which is exactly what raises your average WPM.
Does Survival have a time limit?
No. The game only ends when you run out of lives. Your result shows how long you survived, the words you cleared, your WPM and your accuracy.
Can I pause Survival?
Yes. Press Esc or the pause button at any time. The game also pauses by itself if you click away or switch tabs, so you never lose a life while you are not looking.
